Terms & Conditions

I would like to give a warm welcome to all clients. I like to ensure a high standard of service for everyone so when booking appointments you are accepting the terms & conditions of the business. Please have a look at the terms of business below. 

Hygiene: For hygienic reasons, each client must provide towels for their treatments. 

Parking: All pricing excludes the cost of parking. Parking must be provided at your location. If free parking is not available, parking permit must be provided or parking cost must be covered by you (client).

As this is a mobile service, there will be locations where is not suitable to attend (e.g. Parking is too far). If you are in a complex or apartment building, I will need a hand from the entrance or from the car as there maybe various pieces of equipment to transport. This applies even if there is a working lift. 

Booking
Appointments are subject to availability and a 50%  deposit of  the total appointment cost.  The deposit is non-refundable once within 48 hours of the start of the appointment time. The deposit must be paid no later than 48 hours prior to the appointment by bank transfer. The deposit will be deducted from the final total price. The remainder of the payment can then be made on the day or before by bank transfer or cash.  

There is a minimum appointment spend for all bookings: £40 is required within a 4 mile radius from Sanderstead, South Croydon, £50 up to 7 mile radius. The maximum distance covered by Mb-beauty is a 10 mile radius from South Croydon.

As a courtesy, a text/ email will be sent the day before your appointment. However please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid cancellation fees.

Cancellation Policy:
Your appointment is reserved especially for you! 
It is understandable that there will be occasions when unforeseen events may occur which is out of your control but please understand these are also out of my control therefore the cancellation policy will still apply. 
Less than 48 hours notice is given to reschedule or cancel your appointment will result in the loss of your deposit. 
Less than 12 hours notice provided to cancel or reschedule your appointment will require the full payment.

Facial treatment courses:
Course of 4 micro-current treatments are valid for 4 weeks.
Course of 3 microdermabrasion treatments are vaild for 6 weeks. 
The sessions in a course are discounted and are designed to be used in a short time frame to have the maximum effect, therefore they have an expiry date. 
The facial courses must be completed in the specified time frame, any sessions left over will expire and they can not be used after that date.
A 24 hours notice must be given to reschedule a session, if notice is given within the 24 hours, that session will  be lost.  

Patch test: £5 charge is payable for any patch test to cover fuel cost and time, this is only redeemable against the full treatment cost. 

Eyelash extensions
Lash Guarantee
5 day lash guarantee is offered. If excessive amount of lashes are lost please contact me immediately to discuss any issues. In the circumstance an issue may occur and lashes needs to be fixed please be advised that the lash guarantee is only offered providing the following conditions have been adhered to
  • Correct aftercare must be followed, if improper aftercare caused the extensions to fall out, infill of the missing extensions will be at the clients expense.
  • contact must be made within 5 days after the lash application
  • if repair is needed, it must be booked within 6 days of the original apointment. Any later than 6 days, the lashes are exposed to every day wear and tear therefore voids the lash guarantee
 
GDPR Privacy Notice
(Why is personal data collected and what is done with it)

When you supply your personal data to Mb-beauty they are stored and processed for the below reasons:

-Some personal information need to be collected about you and your health in order to make sure there are no contraindications to your treatment, and legal requirements. You can of course, refuse to provide the information, however unfortunately your treatment would be refused as this form is a legal requirement for  insurance.
-Records retained on paper is stored in a locked cabinet. 
-Records stored on computer is password protected. 
-Your phone number and email may be used electronically, with your permission for appointment reminders. Will only use your contact details in order to contact you. Never give or sell our customers details to third parties.
-You have the right to see what personal data of yours is held and you can ask to correct any factual errors. 
- Provided the legal minimum period has elapsed (7 years) , you may also ask the business to erase your records.
